Went to Bournmouth for the bank holiday weekend to stay with Charlie & Ilsa. Also there were Belinda and Jason and Alex and Caroline. Much fun had with Flora on the beach (until a grumpy old man told us she wasn't allowed there). Poole potteries disappointing. Cool street in Poole with craft, model, comic and game shops. Lots of BBQ food and wine at home. Hilarious game of Jenga, Boules and Cranium.
Stopped off to see Uncle John on the way back to London. He was very pleased to see us and about to go on a balloon trip. Quick diversion through the New Forest on the way home. Flora meets the new forest ponies - they have just foaled.
Drinks with Paul and Kate at home. Discussing fence arrangements.
